Christopher Casey joined Westlake Securities in 2013. As a part of the investment banking team, Mr. Casey not only sources and executes transactions within the firm’s existing capabilities but also assists private equity firms raise capital from global institutional limited partners. Prior to joining Westlake, Mr. Casey was on the investment team at Franklin Templeton Real Asset Advisors as an Institutional Portfolio Manager for their infrastructure and real estate products. Mr. Casey’s experience includes a position as chief operating officer of Post Oak Energy Capital, a Houston based oil and gas private equity firm, where he led the fund raising efforts for their initial $200 million fund; managing director at AIG Global Real Estate, responsible for raising capital for their global property funds; capital placement and investor relations for Forum Partners’ Asian and European real estate funds; and positions with Lehman Brothers and Deutsche Bank Securities. Mr. Casey received a B.S. degree from Washington and Lee University, an M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and a Masters of Management degree from the University of Dallas. He holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 79 and 63 licenses.
